Cold Springs Trout Farm is one of Utah’s best kept secrets! Only 15 minutes from downtown Ogden, and about an hour from Salt Lake City, you will find one of the best fishing holes in the state of Utah! The trout farm is a family owned business since 1924. We have 7 catch-out ponds that are stocked with feisty rainbow trout.

We’re open everyday & we’re only a 90 minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD. A visit to Buxton is a great day trip or weekend getaway with plenty of things to see & do in the area. The drive is spectacular (considered the best Victorian road trip & one of the most beautiful in Australia. We sell live trout for dam stocking, sizes & prices vary depending on the time of year.
Cooked the traditional way over a fire of Mountain Ash after being left in a brine the night before, you won’t find better Smoked Trout anywhere in Australia!
We are one of the only farms in Australia which uses this method. By gently hand milking the fish only when they are fully ripe and the egg completely formed creates a premium quality caviar. In very limited quantities you can pick some up from the farm.
