Fishbox has been such a great addition to our family. It's encouraged us to try new recipes and we now love fish. The customer service and communication with Fishbox has been fantastic. I love the service! The idea of having fresh fish from Scotland sent to me was a dream... and you made it a reality. I don't want to buy fish from plastic containers in the store, I'd rather go to a fish counter or to the fishmonger. Many times, my schedule just doesn't allow for that -- and Fishbox brought the fish to me! It is wonderful.

“Just received our £45 box today, having upgraded to £45 this month, and the fish variety and quality look brilliant. Can’t wait to try some - we have loved all the fish we received since joining. To be honest we tried you and a fish box from Cornwall and yours is far superior fish, both in taste and in your packing and information. The Cornwall box arrived wet through, with loose fish in a polystyrene box with a few ice cubes. It was guesswork on what the fish was and it was nowhere near as good a quality as yours. I have to say that you guys surpassed all expectations with my last delivery. Shell on scallops, sea trout, haddock, hake and smoked salmon. The best yet!
The only problem for me was the hubby dived in, ate 3/4s of the scallops, ALL of the sea trout but gave me share of everything else. This from a man who was a haddock and chips man. Well done! It's a great concept.

Our Fishbox arrived yesterday, everything fresh and well-packaged.
We followed your cooking instructions and the langoustines were soon luxuriating in a tomato and marscapone sauce! Have been enjoying the fish immensely. Made a champagne sauce with the Hake for Valentine's Day - wonderfully fresh! Delicious!

Over the last two years, I’ve received a bunch of requests to make Fishbox better. Some small like sending pictures of your packages to know which are in our store to some larger ones like “when are you moving to New York City?” But by far, the number one request has been “When the heck are you bringing the deliveries back?”

I completely understand why this request is made. We’re really busy and the last thing we want to do is wait for packages to arrive - that’s why I’m here :) Also, I get it, when it’s raining outside, brutally chilly, the package you have is too large to lug 10 blocks, or maybe you’re like me and would just rather chill inside and have someone bring you your things - you should have that option, and today, many of you will.

Starting this month, each Ease Plan subscriber that lives in 19147 will finally have the option to get their things delivered to their home. We’ll eventually branch out to more zip codes (you can request where we should go next here), but we wanted to start with our closest neighbors.

So, how will this whole thing work?

Fishao Box Online

1. When you get a package, we’ll continue emailing you pictures of them. In that email will be a link to request a delivery. It will also be in the main navigation of our website.

2. If you decide to have your packages delivered to you, visit that link and fill out the request form. You’ll receive a confirmation text and automatically be added to our delivery schedule on Wednesday between 7pm-10pm. We’ll arrive with all the packages we have in the store for you some time within that window.

3. We use software similar to Uber and Lyft. When we’re on our way to you, we’ll text you a link that, once clicked, will allow you to track where your package is in real time. We’ll send another text when we arrive, so keep your phone handy :)

4. The cost for the service will be $2/package + a flat $8.99 delivery fee.

   1. For example, if you get one package delivered, the cost will be $10.99

   2. For five packages, the cost will be $18.99

5. There are a few things to keep in mind with the service

   1. This is a beta program, which means we’ll be testing this to see how it works and make small improvements each month until it’s just right

   2. There are no restrictions on the amount of packages that you get delivered, but there are oversized charges that you can find on our FAQ page. The oversized charges are in addition to the delivery charges

   3. If you’re not home when we deliver, there is an $11.99 missed delivery charge

   4. All requests must be made by 6pm each Wednesday

   5. You must have completed your Form 1583. We have copies for you in our store if you haven’t filled one out

I want to personally thank each and every one of you that have made the requests to bring the deliveries back. I want to make Fishbox the best service for ending missed/stolen packages and I now understand that we have some big challenges (and opportunities) ahead. This is a very exciting time for me!
